Centering Student Voices

The Georgetown Scholars Program (GSP) was founded in 2004 and has transformed into the comprehensive program that it currently is by keeping student voices and feedback centered! Our student team is invaluable to our approach to student support. Made up of Front Desk Assistants, Social Media and Design Interns, and a Weekly Email Intern during the academic year, our team helps us ensure we are meeting our mission and maintaining student voice at the center of our work. Over the summer, we hire a small team of Summer Interns to help us prepare for the upcoming academic year and help share information to the newest cohort of GSPers!

We wouldn’t be able to fulfill our mission as a program without the work of our students. Much of what you see — from our program brochures to our social media content — is created and managed by our own students! It is because of their keen insight, creative ideas, and can-do attitude that the program is where it is today!

Have you ever thought about joining the team? We tend to recruit for summer positions early in the spring semester and for the upcoming academic year around the middle of the spring semester. Check out position descriptions to view eligibility and requirements for our different positions!
