Reception hosted by Tracey and Rick Klein (C'80) (Milwaukee, WI, February 2008)

The Georgetown Scholarship Program (GSP) extends sincere thanks to Tracey and Rick Klein (C'80), parents of Lauren (B'11) and Alex (B'11), for graciously hosting a recent reception at their home in Brookfield, WI. The program provides increased financial aid for undergraduate students that otherwise could not afford to attend Georgetown University.

As the men's basketball team prepared to face Marquette on the court, alumni and friends of Georgetown gathered to hear the Dean of Undergraduate Admissions, Charles Deacon, describe the serious competition Georgetown is facing on the financial aid front.

Many students admitted to Georgetown this spring will consider their financial aid package an important factor in determining which school they ultimately attend.

Every dollar given to GSP helps off-set tuition costs for undergraduate students, reducing loans for each scholarship recipient by approximately $12,000 over the course of a 4-year education. Currently, 194 students benefit from these grants.
