Reception hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Séan W. McCarthy (C'82) (New York, March 2008)

The Georgetown Scholarship Program (GSP) extends sincere thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Séan W.McCarthy (C'82) for graciously hosting the recent GSP reception at their home in New York. GSP provides increased financial aid for undergraduate students that otherwise could not afford to attend Georgetown University.

Inspired by a moral imperative and commitment to Jesuit traditions, Georgetown promises to meet the full financial need of every accepted student, regardless of their socioeconomic circumstance and despite an endowment far smaller than that of our peer institutions. Support of GSP enables Georgetown to fund more competitive scholarship packages, offering increased grants and reduced loans to applicants with great financial aid needs.
