“No policy at Georgetown has been more responsible for the ability
to create truly remarkable student body, class after class, year after year...
No policy has had a greater impact on our rise in academic quality and competitiveness.”
- President John J. DeGioia about Georgetown’s Need-Blind, Full-Need Policy
The Georgetown Scholarship Program (GSP) consists of alumni, parents, and friends of Georgetown committed to the University policy of meeting the full financial need of all qualified students. By providing enhanced scholarships to undergraduate students through increased grants and reduced loans, the program enables Georgetown to offer an education to students regardless of their socioeconomic status and to compete on equal terms with peer institutions for the best and brightest students.
